LA CARNAVALE
LA CARNAVALE 2011 was a good experience. We had practiced for weeks, learning the steps and the movements.
When we got to school we straight away dressed into our costumes and waited to go over to the R.A Young hall, to where we were performing. When we were just about to leave we heard a alarm coming from the junior school. We soon found out it was a fire alarm. We waited until we were allowed to go into the building. When we finaly started the show we were all a bit nervous. It is our turn tom perform we did our music peices and our dances the audience claps and we walk off. We walk back downstairs and waited a long time until all the classes had all done their performances.
overall I thought La Carnavale was a big succsess and we all had fun and look forward to see how they do next year.
The mystery of the haunted mansion By: 8h amanda R.Australia, Age 13 Once upon a time there was an old house on the top of the highest mountain. Nobody has lived there for over a hundred years. The people that used to live there were the Portart family. They moved out because of this weird sound and things kept going missing.But one afternoon there was a little boy named Tim, who was nine years of age and live with a family of four. His mother, farther and three year old sister, Kate. They were the new family in town. Tim was a boy that got in to a lot of mischief and decided to go for a walk and find some friends while his family unpacked. Tim went to the local park, but there was no body there. Then he see's this big hill with a house that had a big black gate around it and a lot crow's flying around This house looked realy old and falling to pieces, but Tim didn't care he just wanted too check it out. So he went up to the house. Five minutes later Tim got to a rusted, squeeky, tall gate. he was a little scared but he went in, there was all sounds of bugs and screetching all around. Tim got to the front door and it was wide open with a big spider web on it and a big red back spider. Any way Tim kept on going he hadn't had enough yet he walked in and there was no furniture there was only some broken glass and some planks of really old wood lying around. Tim walked up too a stair case that had all holes etc on it and walked up stairs. On his way up he see's a big sign on the wall in green saying ''help me"
